Here at Sheftival, we are big fans of #notdriving. We can't individually save the world, but every journey not taken has to help right? So at this year's Sheftival we are going to attempt to count the number of miles that people didn't drive to get to our unique festival of sport and culture.

Anyone who doesn't drive, will have a chance to win some really special prizes including a special, limited edition photograph signed by the great Jess Ennis. We have loads of transport partners making sure that there is no need to bring the car to Sheftival, meaning you can enjoy a drink without fear of overdoing it and spare a few litres of petrol along the way. As well as all your individual efforts, we will be measuring the numbers of miles that people didn't drive by coming by City Taxis (as long as you shared the cab), Supertram, East Midlands Trains and Great Northern Trains and even our early morning savings on the Buskers Barge.

Anyone who doesn't drive, will have a chance to win some really special prizes, and we even have a few bribes to encourage you to leave the car at home. First up - if you join our special Sheftival five weirs walk, we will let you have £5 off your entrance ticket. The walk will be leaving at 10am in the morning from the Hilton Hotel. Or if you prefer pedal power to walking, why not join the guys at Pedal Ready who will be cycling from the canalside at The Hilton from 11am.
